Project 29 - Wish You Was Here!!

Project 28 - Iconoclastic Plastic

Project 27 - UEL Feature Shop - Returning The Favour

This scene was shot at my parents bar in belvedere. The scene pretty much explains everything, ive never tried to shoot a scene before so this was really fun for me to try and experiment with different angles and shots! None of us had ever acted before so it was a real challenge to stop everyone from laughing at every shot ( plenty of out takes ).

Project 26 - 100 uses for a brick

This gave me nothing but pain.

Arnie Killings

So my favourite action hero gets his hands on this little runt and tears him a new a one. Job done.

Project 25 - Ereda Public Drawing Documentary

So me and casper were paired up for this one and as soon a I heard about this project I wasn't excited, asking the public if I could draw them made me nervous. On the day it turned out fine, we got at least 4 drawings done all together and by selling them we just managed to cover lunch. We got to chat up some women from lovely places like France, Mexico and Bristol, over all this was actually a pretty fun project because its fun to get us out of our comfort zones sometimes.

Justin Bieber Finished

The finished piece

Project 23 - Justin Bieber No Fear

Anyone past the age of 16 will more or less absolutely loath Bieber, all you need to do is look up a vid of his on youtube and the list of insults are endless. The only good thing I saw was a continued loop of him being shot in CSI and I found that he could be generally entertaining in that sense, however I still respect this guy. You would think that a guy of this age would break under all the pressure he faces and by all the insults he may not want to go on. Bieber always comes back though and this is why in my image I have imagined a scenario where somebody takes a swing at him, but to our surprise he keeps on smiling. Yeah I do have a respect for this guy but at the same time I think id stick around too if I was becoming a multi millionaire in my teens.

Project 24 - Mile High Type Club

For this project I choose the un capped Helvetica b, I noticed a lot of people going with capitals. I knew from the start I didn't want to go down some dark place painting a letter on the wall, I had something on my mind more like that show Art Attack. I wondered what I could use and then it hit me, my parents own a bar on belvedere and I could use booze! So I travelled down to their place to tap into there unlimited recourses. Now it may seem lazy but its far from it, for starters I happened to pick the most hottest day of the year, and carrying boxes and boxes of alcohol from the cellar by yourself is a pain in the ass. It took me about 45 minutes to complete, I had to keep running up to the 1st floor to see if it was proportioned. Eventually I ended up with something that looked half decent, a very mouth watering b.

Project 22 - designs

These are just some sketchbook designs for the New Wave album covers.

                                                        The original logo design.

Project 22 - Anarchy In The UK

This project was very tricky for me and for a while I was completely lost, I couldn't invent a band that sounded cool or that anybody would listen to. I first came up with the idea of a future style, electronic robot, asian jazz band ( tron looking ) however i didn't really see how that would relate to anything at the moment except my own crazy mind. I instead watched the news like I do every day and at the time was the big revolution in the Middle East and North Africa, it then came to me the idea of having a band that could inspire a whole nation to stand up. A revolution in music! So by using the theme of the middle east I designed these two album covers, taking images from actual present events and twisting them to suite this musical cause. I particularly like the 12 inch record sleeve with the protester tossing a musical note, I have been told i'm ripping off Banksy. ( I had no idea till someone pointed it out to me ) The band was named New Wave, and because they are all about change I wanted to make it clear this is revolution through music and not violence. I designed a logo for New Wave, it shows a trumpet crossing an AK 47, i thought it was pretty powerful symbol for the band indicating what they represent.

Project 21 - Egg

Another project which had no brief so I can go all out and let my weird imagination come forth, the idea for my egg design was the bond it has with a women. Your probably not sure what i'm talking about, well im not talking about a chickens egg i'm all about the human egg! The kind of eggs you get when to adults get down and dirty. Most of us have been in that situation and well we have all been eggs at some point so you can all relate!! This image looks twisted you say? Well it should be I dont go easy with these designs and I had plenty more in my sketchbook ill show you. The big female head here is as you may have guessed a giant egg, producing a human fetus. Thats how I imagine eggs anyway......

Project 20 - My Favourite Dress

Project 19 - Holiday Havoc

Went to Austria this winter, never been before. Beware of the city of Graz! its in the east and nobody speaks english!!

Project 18 - Research Musts

Found many many great designers! I just narrowed it down to a few though, check out the guys I found they are very interesting!!

Project 17 - The 100 Club

So I had to go through all the house to somehow find 100 things and I did it! The objects were a bunch of toys I found laying around, somewhere where my sisters but mostly they were mine :D I would like to confess I have a HUGE collection of marvel and dc figures that I still collect to this day.

Project 15 - Think Crime

My perfect crime was to be able to kill someone in a way that would be hard to trace, the unfortunate victim for this test was my girl friend. The tool I used to dispose of this women was a simple plastic bag, the idea is that you can quickly suffocate the victim then take the weapon away without causing any suspicion to the public. It could then be easily disposed, any bin at least 2 miles away should be fine. I used  photography for the final piece, the way I set out the photos was in the style of a graphic novel. Just in case you was wondering my girlfriend is still alive and well.

Project 14 - Snow Joke

Pretty much a snow man I made in while visiting Arnald Schwarzengger's home town in Austria. Location Thal.

Project 13 - I Like Psych

I like psych finished piece pretty much relates to where my head is 99% of the time. Its in the clouds dream land cuckoo land. I made the piece from these different weird coloured foam, they had a nice texture to them butttttt you cant really tell on here. I prefer to make things as to using programs you see :(

Project 12 -

Well the photo we was given didn't give us too much information to play around with however it was still enough for me to go absolutely bonkers! The photograph is pretty simply a women looking into a bathroom sink. Many people suggested that by her looking down and holding her belly she could feel over weight or that she might even be pregnant. I went a step further and believed this women has some major phycological problems and was on the verge of suicide.  Using the photocopier i made many copies of this victim and began to make some pretty disturbing creations, I liked the idea of her feeling so physically sick with herself that she was literally spewing up her own guts! I especially like the one where it looks as if she has shot her twin in the back with bullets of blood. The technique was rather simple, you just make plenty of copies and individually cut out each limb so you can create certain movements, this way I can have her leaning back spewing blood or even running!

The final piece was a series of snap shots of the women running un till she finally throws up, This piece was made on photoshop to save time. I feel the first creations I made by hand were more effective though and had a better quality to them that couldn't be replicated using the mac programs.

Project 11 - The Wing of a Bee

I tried to incorporate things that relate to me into my wing, for example a plane because i like to travel and the territory of england for obvious reasons. I added these circles as well trying to bring something more familiar to the wing that is also found on butterfly's ( yeah didn't really think about making it a bees wing ). In the wild they are used as protection from predators as they resemble the eyes of an owl. I found this project pretty tuff because i didn't realise using the program would be tricky, as it was my first time and the design was pretty tricky especially with the mechanical part of the wing.

Project 10 - Excuses

Pretty obvious ( I WAS ON FIRE ). I didn't really like this piece too much, too photoshopyyy.

Project 8 - Pay to Play

The idea behind this design is rather simple, it is relating to the economic hardship britain has faced recently. The great hand holding the money symbolises how precious each pound is in these times.
